UNDERFOOT and full of mischief, Snitch has been a member of our household for several years now. He was hand-raised as a "only child" but with a lot of interaction so he is a well-mannered fellow who can play with kids, walk on a leash, is litter trained, and takes a bath.
Snitch is still a true ferret, tho. He's war dances, dooks, claws at the underside of furniture, hunts shiny objects to steal and hide, likes the gift wrap - not the gift, comes running for some vitamin oil, learned the hard way some things can hurt, likes exploring corners and cupboards, luvs to have a good tussle/wrestle, and fidgets while having his toenails clipped. We take the necessary precautions to let Snitch be a ferret (ie, our house is ferret-proof).
From time to time, Snitch/we host a rescue ferret or babysit fellows when families travel. That's kinda why we're here. To share Snitch's squirrely life and maybe raise some rescue funds. Leave a suggestion, become a friend, rate a video, or read Snitch's blog -- we hope you have fun and come back often!

ANY BUSINESS you (your family, your friends) can give our good sponsors (below) would be kindly appreciated as this helps fund our ferret rescue efforts, so many thanks in advance!

DID YOU KNOW that ferrets jump backwards when they are excited or confronted? They keep their eyes riveted on whatever is in front of them, as they continue jumping backwards, with no regard for what is behind them. They're trying to find something to hide under but this trait gets them into harmful situations, too.
AND THAT there are three important tools for peaceful ferret parenthood ("ownership" shouldn't apply to pets).
As Snitch has at least five favorite hiding places around the house (under bookcase, under bed, under sofa, under dresser), our only hope of ever retrieving those missing keys or batteries is a broomstick, a flashlight and good back/knees!
